NOTICE OF MEETING

BASTROP COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT

Pursuant to Section 551, Texas Government Code, the Bastrop County Commissioners Court will meet in Regular Session, Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 9:00 A.M. in the Commissioners Courtroom, Second Floor, 804 Pecan St. Bastrop, Texas.

1. 1. Call to order and prayer.
2. 2. Allegiance to the Flags. (Texas Pledge:  Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible).
3. 3. Citizen comments.
4. 4. Approve minutes of previous meeting(s).
5. 5. Approve payment of bills and Treasurer’s Report.
6. 6. Department report; Approve bonds.
7. 7. Proclamation for Mr. John F. McWhorter on the occasion of his 104^th birthday
8. 8. Discussion and possible action re:  approve Professional Services Agreement with Tyler Technologies;  Sheriff Pickering
9. 9. Presentation of photos of Bastrop Fires;  Brian Kennedy

10. Discussion and possible action re:  approve LPHCP Implementing agreements for the following properties:  a)  Couch  b) Kincheloe;  Roxanne Hernandez

11. Discussion and possible action re:  appointment of Commissioners for Emergency Service District’s No. 1 and No. 2

12. Discussion and possible action re:  approval of Donald Thorne Subdivision Plat, subdivide a 3.50 acre lot and a 3.16 acre lot in Nancy Blakey Survey,  Precinct 1, Owners:  Doyle & Barbara Whiting and Thorne Revocable Living Trust;  Surveyor/Engineer:  KD Engineering, L.L.C.;  Rachel Clampffer

13. Discussion and possible action re:  approval of Amended Plat of Lots 45, 46 & 47, Circle “D” Country Acres, Section 6, Precinct 1, Owners:  Mark & Kerry McNeese and Linda M. Kessie;  Surveyor:  James E. Garon 7 Associates Professional Land Surveyors;  Rachel Clampffer

14. Discussion and possible action re:  disposition of flag presented to the Office of Emergency Management;  Mike Fisher

15. Discussion and possible action re:  approve continuation of Declaration of Environmental Disaster for Bastrop County due to the wildfires;  Mike Fisher

16. EXECUTIVE SESSION:  Commissioners Court to adjourn to closed meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.07 of the Texas Open Meeting Act, for the purpose of:  551.072-to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property regarding Pine Forest Unit 6.

17. Return to open meeting and take action deemed necessary upon discussion in closed meeting pursuant to VTCA Government Code 551.072.

18. EXECUTIVE SESSION:  The Commissioners Court will hold a closed meeting pursuant to VTCA  Government Code 551.071 to seek the advice of its attorney regarding threatened litigation and potential claim for property damages for property located at 143 Lois Lane.

19. Return to open meeting and take any necessary action arising out of Executive Session, including possible authorization of payment of County funds and the execution of settlement and release documents for the purposes of resolving this claim.
